Therapeutic Yoga Program
This program is a private 3 class session that focuses on relieving pain while creating space in the body. We use yoga shapes and movements, along with breath and mindfulness to bring awareness to the areas we are attempting to heal. After two sessions a client had this to say…

Therapeutic yoga is not a “fix”. It is a practice using yogic elements to bring awareness and breath to specific areas in order to encourage release, strengthening, and healing. As a practice, we bring these elements into our day to day to support our lives.
This program includes:
a short get-together (over coffee / via chat / emails / virtually) to determine if this is the right path for you;
three private 1 hour sessions in The Yoga Room, Shelburne;
a personalized practice sequence focused on the area of concern. This sequence is updated each time we meet and e-mailed or messaged to you.

My schedule is all over the place and I can’t commit to one consistent day/time.
No problem! As these are private sessions our meeting times will be based on both of our schedules. One class, we might meet on Monday at 7pm, while the next class we may meet on a Wednesday morning. And it won’t necessarily be weekly for 3 weeks. I would like you to have a minimum of 7 days with your sequence before we meet again, but a maximum of 14 days.Can I pay with instalments?
While I prefer full payment at/by our first meeting, please reach out if this would be a detriment to your current budget. Payment by instalments must be agreed to before we start our time together. Unfortunately, payment must me made in full in order to benefit from any specials I am offering.I’ve never done yoga before. Can I still do this?
Absolutely. I will meet you where you are in your yoga journey.What does a typical session with you look like?
In our first class, we chat. A lot. I ask questions and we begin to explore shapes and breath based on your answers. You end up with a 15 minute sequence to practice more or less daily. I will send you a link to your sequence for you to print or follow online
In our second class, we discuss how things are going; what is working/making sense and what is not. Your feedback is important! Then we run through your sequence and make adjustments. We may explore the yoga wall and use other in-studio props. Your personalized sequence is expanded to approximately 30 minutes.
The third class looks much like the 2nd, running through, discussing, adjusting your personalized sequence. And you go away happy (I hope!) to practice your sequence for as long as it benefits you. If you find you would like more adjustments, we book a new session.
