Yoga, Mala Making, & Meditation (Sold out!)

Join Kate & Tamara for an afternoon of yoga, mala making, and meditation. We will start our afternoon with a short 30-40 minute yoga practice, aimed at slowing ourselves down, relaxing the breath, and settling the mind in preperation for creative constructions of mala followed by a short meditation session that utilizes our newly created malas.

This 2.5 hour workshop begins with an outline and description of yin yoga, its applications in yoga and day to day life, and the various approaches to the practice. After a short break, we move into a guided yin practice, exploring poses that open the body and mind to stillness, and bring your breath and focus to the present.
